About the role

The Physical Therapist Assistant supports physical therapy services by performing delegated procedures under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans and modify procedures based on patient status within the physical therapist’s scope.
• Document patient progress and ensure safety during therapy sessions.
• Address age-specific needs and treat patients with respect and dignity.
• Assess and manage patient pain according to departmental policies.
• Identify and report patient safety issues.
• Provide technical assistance and coordinate workload with Physical Therapy aides.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Entry-level candidates are welcome.
• Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
