PRN Dialysis Technician, CCHT

Responsibilities
- Utilize technical and critical thinking skills to perform and monitor dialysis treatments under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Coordinate schedules to fit availability while adhering to a one-shift-per-month requirement.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team, including Managed Healthcare, DOC/BOP, and clients.
- Perform thorough patient assessments, document findings, and communicate with licensed personnel.
- Administer oxygen, obtain blood samples, and perform routine tests as directed.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by washing machines, stations, and chairs, preparing logs, and stocking supplies.
- Participate in IDT and QAPI committees, reporting concerns, and contributing to performance improvement projects.
- Ensure confidentiality of patient, employee, and company information, and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Nationally recognized CCHT certification or equivalent
- Current CPR certification
- One year of clinical dialysis experience
Skills and Competencies
- Strong technical and computer proficiency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic knowledge of renal function and treatment modalities
- Understanding of sterile technique and infection control
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Pay
The hourly rate ranges from $17.00 to $27.00, based on documented experience, qualifications, and market data. Additionally, there is a 100% employer match on a 401(k) plan with immediate vesting.
Schedule
PRN employees are required to work one shift per month, with shifts occurring on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at the Whitmore Lake, MI location within Woodland Correctional Facility.
