About the role
An elite AM Law 100 firm is seeking a Managing or Senior Associate with a focus on private fund formation to join its industry-leading emerging companies and venture capital practice. This group represents some of the most active and innovative fund managers across the venture and growth equity ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Advise venture capital and growth equity sponsors on all aspects of fund formation.
- Manage fund-side matters including structuring, negotiation, and regulatory strategy.
- Guide clients through the full fund lifecycle, from capital raising to deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-office teams supporting innovation-focused investors.
- Provide tailored counsel to both emerging managers and multi-billion AUM funds.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience in private fund formation and investment management.
- Direct experience advising venture capital and growth equity fund managers.
- Strong academic credentials and professional motivation.
- Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills.
- Active bar membership in the jurisdiction of practice.
