Private Duty Nurse LVN - Nights (Part Time / Full Time)

About the Role

The Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) provides skilled nursing care in patients' homes under supervision, adhering to care plans and physician orders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care, monitor and assess patient conditions.
• Document activities and patient responses, update care plans as needed.
• Implement interventions to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and self-care techniques.
• Maintain infection control standards and comply with policies, regulations, and the Nurse Practice Act.
• Document care via electronic health records.
• Work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Maintain professional accountability and compliance with health mandates and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted LPN/LVN license.
• CPR certification.
• TB test within the last 12 months.
• Six months of clinical experience (preferred).
• Home health experience (a plus).

Skills

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.

Physical & Environment Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Travel to patients' homes.
• Perform physical tasks such as repositioning patients, walking, standing, and climbing stairs.
• Able to work in diverse environments, possibly exposed to infectious substances.
