Private Duty Nurse LVN - Nights (Part Time / Full Time)

About the Role

We are seeking a Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) for night shifts to provide skilled nursing care in patients' homes. The role emphasizes compassionate homecare delivery, ensuring outstanding clinical outcomes and supporting a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and document patient care according to physician orders and care plans.
• Assess patient conditions, recognize changes, and report updates promptly.
• Educate patients and families on disease management, self-care, and prevention.
• Maintain compliance with policies, regulations, and infection control standards.
• Participate in ongoing education and skill development.

Qualifications and Skills

• Active, unencumbered LPN/LVN license in the practicing state.
• Current CPR certification and TB test within the last 12 months.
• Six months of clinical experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation and physical ability to lift and reposition patients.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Physical and Environmental Demands

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, bend, and respond to emergencies.
• Working in diverse environments with potential exposure to infectious materials.
• Travel required to patients' homes.
