Private Duty Nurse LVN - Night Shifts (Part Time / Full Time)

About the role

We are seeking a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide skilled nursing care in patients' homes, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and document patient care according to physician plans and assessments.
• Monitor patient condition, report changes, and implement appropriate interventions.
• Educate patients and families on disease management, self-care, and prevention.
• Maintain confidentiality, adhere to policies, and follow infection control standards.
• Participate in care plan updates and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Current, active LPN/LVN license in the practicing state.
• Current CPR certification and TB test within the last 12 months.
• Six months of clinical nursing experience preferred; home health experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel, lift up to 50 pounds, and respond effectively in emergencies.

Physical and environmental requirements

• Proficiency in English, visual and hearing acuity, and ability to navigate various home environments.
• Exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and infectious diseases may occur.

Schedule
