About the role

We are seeking a Principal Workday Solutions Architect who is highly analytical, possesses strong problem-solving abilities, and has excellent communication skills. Previous experience with Workday and a track record of successful HR technology projects are required. This role offers opportunities to lead innovative projects and further develop your professional skills in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with HR business teams and Workday IT experts on system design decisions, user experience, complex issue resolution, and process design.
  • Lead the design and implementation of Workday solutions to meet business needs, acting as a subject matter expert for various Workday modules.
  • Conceptualize designs and end-to-end processes, providing expert guidance on best practices and system optimization.
  • Provide technical leadership, drive Workday process enhancements, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure the architecture addresses all stakeholder concerns and enterprise-wide goals.
  • Stay up-to-date on Workday releases and trends, identifying opportunities to improve the process of delivering solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in IT, Computer Science and/or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of HR business processes and how technology can be leveraged to improve them.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders at different levels in the company and cross-functional teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of Workday modules, such as Core HCM, Security, Advanced Compensation, Benefits, Talent, and Payroll.
  • Strong ability to translate business needs into technical solutions, including a strong understanding of Workday architecture, system logic, and configuration.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and functional issues.
  • Relevant years of recent experience working on Workday for a global professional services environment, specifically in support of HR functions.
  • Ability to translate technical solutions in a way that is meaningful to HR and leadership.
  • Experience in project delivery framework practices, including agile, iterative, and waterfall project delivery methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its subsets will be an added advantage.
  • Good exposure to senior stakeholder management skills.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $157,700.00 - $210,300.00. An employee’s pay position within the salary range may be based on several factors including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, ability, knowledge of the job, performance, contribution, results, geographic location, shift, internal and external equity, and business and organizational needs. This range is applicable for jobs to be performed in California, Colorado, New York, or remote jobs that can be performed in those states.
