Principal Technical Product Marketing Manager, Agent Platform
About the role
We're looking for a Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager to lead the narrative for Workday's Agent Platform — spanning agent governance, agent management, and agent interoperability. This role will be responsible for crafting a clear, market-leading story that resonates with CIOs, IT leaders, and enterprise architects.
Responsibilities
- Top-level Narrative & Message Generation: Establish and thread a holistic agent platform across spanning agent governance, agent management, and agent interoperability offerings.
- Develop messaging frameworks that resonate with CIOs, IT leaders, and enterprise architects — highlighting the differentiation and value for our customers.
- Serve as a primary marketing voice for Workday's Agent Platform with CIOs, IT leaders, and senior customer stakeholders.
- Support analyst briefings, executive roundtables, and customer advisory sessions.
- Maintain competitive intelligence and persona insights to identify differentiation opportunities and competitive risks.
- Translate insights into positioning, personas, and strategic recommendations.
- Create high-value field-facing and technical content (sales decks, guides, and thought leadership) that bring the Agent Platform story to life for field teams and customers.
- Build and deliver compelling demos that illustrate the agent platform's value end-to-end.
- Lead cross-functional GTM programs for Agent Platform capabilities, partnering with Product, Engineering, and Events teams to drive adoption at DevCon, Workday Rising, and other tier 1 events.
- Track success via platform adoption, narrative penetration, and enablement effectiveness metrics.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in technical product marketing, with depth in platform, infrastructure, or enterprise AI products.
- Strong executive presence: comfortable speaking with CIOs and IT leaders about their agentic strategy and how Workday enables it.
- Able to build trust with senior technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to take complex, layered technologies and distill them into clear, compelling, differentiated narratives – driving adoption.
Qualifications
- Operationally rigorous: able to drive processes, align cross-functional teams, and deliver outcomes at scale with precision and accountability.
- Thrives in ambiguity. Demonstrates a growth mindset, deep curiosity, and resourcefulness; not afraid to ask questions, take initiative, and operate independently in a fast-moving environment.

Our Approach to Flexible Work: With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role).
