Principal Solutions Architect, Global Defense Partners

About the role

The Principal Solutions Architect will help shape and deliver strategies to advance Global Defense Partners' mission through AWS services. This role involves working closely with systems integrators, consulting and technology partners, and a sales and business development team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement technology solutions and roadmaps that guide IT transformations towards cloud computing
• Communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, including C-level executives, through training, workshops, and publications
• Lead efforts to capture and share best practices among the AWS solution architect community
• Build and validate proof of concepts (PoCs) to solve customer problems

Requirements

• 10+ years of specific technology domain areas experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above

Qualifications

• Knowledge of distributed systems design and implementation
• Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud
• Familiarity with defense compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, CMMC, DoD SRG, and ITAR

Skills

• Exceptional technical design and thought leadership
• Strong sense of building PoCs to solve customer problems
• Ability to communicate with C-level executives and IT management

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $182,800.00 - $247,300.00 USD annually.
