Senior Solutions Architect, Global Defense Partners

About the role

AWS is seeking a Sr. Solutions Architect to support its growing Global Defense Partners business. The ideal candidate will work closely with customers to define and implement solutions using AWS services, collaborating with a sales and business development team.

Responsibilities

• Owning the technical engagement and strategy with customers
• Building proof of concepts (PoCs) to solve customer problems
• Defining implementation architectures and responding to Request for Proposals (RFPs)
• Developing deep expertise in AWS technologies and customer mission spaces

Requirements

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas experience
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience
• 8+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries
• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience
• Experience in a technical role within a sales organization
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences
• Familiarity with defense compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, CMMC, DoD SRG, and ITAR

Qualifications

• Experience in AI/ML, HPC, digital engineering, advanced manufacturing, or data engineering workloads on AWS

• Strong technical acumen and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and partners
• Knowledge of AWS services and compliance frameworks

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $153,600.00 - $207,800.00 annually.
