Principal Product Marketing Manager

Responsibilities
- Messaging & Positioning
- Developing differentiated messaging and positioning for iManage’s platform capabilities.
- Articulating clear value propositions that resonate with customers and partners, leveraging market and competitive intelligence inputs.
- Refining and evolving messaging frameworks as platform capabilities and market expectations change.
- Go-To-Market Enablement
- Partnering with Product Management throughout the release lifecycle to ensure clear value articulation and market readiness.
- Acting as the subject matter expert to inform training, collateral, demos, and competitive materials.
- Ensuring alignment across Marketing, Product, Sales, Sales Enablement, and Customer Success on how capabilities are introduced and communicated.
- Avoiding the adoption and application of existing go-to-market frameworks to ensure an organized, systematic approach.
- Thought Leadership
- Acting as a subject matter expert when the marketing organization develops thought leadership, customer stories, and other market-facing content.
- Presenting iManage at in-person customer events and webinars.
- Ensuring external narratives accurately reflect our capabilities and align with iManage’s platform and AI strategy.
- Market & Competitive Analysis
- Contributing to the existing Market, Competitive Intelligence, and Customer Insights program by providing expertise and perspective.
- Providing strategic recommendations to Product Management to support prioritization and product direction.
- Customer & Analyst Relations
- Partnering with Customer Advocacy and Analyst Relations to strengthen visibility and recognition of the portfolio in analyst reports and industry conversations.
- Engaging customers to understand use cases, gather insights, and validate positioning.
- Supporting customer storytelling and proof points by providing subject matter expertise and context.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in product marketing and related disciplines.
- Ability to partner effectively with Product and Engineering teams to translate technical concepts into market-ready narratives.
- Demonstrated success collaborating across Product, Engineering, Sales, Sales Enablement, and Customer Success to launch capabilities to market.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort operating in a fast-moving, evolving environment.

- Interest in the LegalTech/AI landscape - deeper understanding and experience is a big plus.
- Experience marketing AI tools, enterprise SaaS platforms, knowledge management technologies.
- Exposure to legal workflows.

Pay
The overall US annual base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $180,000 per year. Individual compensation for each candidate depends on factors such as qualifications, experience, and candidate location. This range does not include additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses, commission, or benefits.
