Principal, Product Manager-Tech , éShop, Premium Ads CX
This Principal PM-T will own the overall Premium Ads CX strategy for North American Stores, including a major ads revenue opportunity, direct experiment ownership, and cross-org (NAS + Ads) scope.
In H1 2026, we partnered with the Stores Monetization team to prioritize a Stores + Ads initiative to (1) design new elevated brand-forward placements, (2) deep dive on the drivers of low ads penetration for Stores Premium Brands, and (3) propose a go-big plan to experiment with fully sponsored and hybridized brand-forward Premium ads placements in H2’26. This Principal PM-T will own the H2 experimentation plan, with dedicated 20+ tech resources from NAS + Ads, and the go-big 2027 OP plan. They will define how Amazon monetizes Premium brand relationships—a net-new revenue category that doesn’t exist today.
This role is expected to drive one of the biggest contributions of incremental Premium Impressions/Glance Views, directly increasing Premium Units/CP while simultaneously driving new ads monetization.
Responsibilities
- Own the H2 2026 experimentation plan for Premium Ads placements, leveraging 20+ dedicated tech resources from NAS and Ads teams.
- Define and execute the go-big 2027 OP plan for monetizing Premium brand relationships.
- Drive cross-functional strategy for elevated brand-forward placements and hybridized sponsored ads.
- Analyze and address drivers of low ads penetration for Stores Premium Brands.
- Deliver incremental Premium Impressions/Glance Views to boost Premium Units/CP and ads revenue.
- Collaborate with leadership, stakeholders, and engineering teams to align on technology decisions and product strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition.
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs in product development.
- Technical product management experience.
- Strong communication skills for engaging with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and product strategy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working directly with engineers on product enhancements.
- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement.
- Experience collaborating with science, data processing, and software engineering teams.
- Proficiency in using generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency, including effective prompting and evaluation practices.
- Ability to identify opportunities where generative AI can improve products, workflows, or customer experiences.
Pay
- USA, NY, New York: $197,900.00 - $267,800.00 USD annually
- USA, WA, Seattle: $179,900.00 - $243,400.00 USD annually
