Responsibilities
- Product Leadership: Develop and communicate the strategy and roadmap for search targeting and controls across Microsoft’s ad ecosystem.
- Customer Advocacy: Represent the product to customers, deeply understand their needs, and champion those needs internally.
- Execution & Decision-Making: Navigate ambiguity, make tough prioritization decisions, and drive alignment across engineering, design, and business stakeholders.
- Communication & Collaboration: Partner effectively with Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Legal, and other cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive product outcomes.
- Data & AI Innovation: Collaborate with Data Science and ML teams to leverage insights and models that power precision targeting and safeguard brand trust at scale.
- Go-to-Market Leadership: Lead go-to-market efforts with marketing and sales, ensuring product launches drive adoption, transparency, and measurable advertiser impact.
- Industry Leadership: Establish Microsoft as a leader in responsible advertising by shaping internal practices and influencing industry standards.
Qualifications
- Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
- OR equivalent experience
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 15+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
- OR equivalent experience
- 6+ years experience taking a product, feature, or experience to market (e.g., design, addressing product market fit, and launch, internal tool/framework)
- 8+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn)
- 8+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product).
- 5+ years experience developing digital advertising products, especially on the demand/buying side platform
