Principal Product Manager - Ads Campaign Management

Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate the strategy and roadmap for search targeting and controls across Microsoft’s ad ecosystem.
• Represent the product to customers, deeply understand their needs, and champion those needs internally.
• Navigate ambiguity, make tough prioritization decisions, and drive alignment across engineering, design, and business stakeholders.
• Partner effectively with Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Legal, and other cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive product outcomes.
• Collaborate with Data Science and ML teams to leverage insights and models that power precision targeting and safeguard brand trust at scale.
• Lead go-to-market efforts with marketing and sales, ensuring product launches drive adoption, transparency, and measurable advertiser impact.
• Establish Microsoft as a leader in responsible advertising by shaping internal practices and influencing industry standards.

Qualifications

• Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree AND 15+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
• 6+ years experience taking a product, feature, or experience to market (e.g., design, addressing product market fit, and launch, internal tool/framework).
• 8+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).
• 8+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product).
• 5+ years experience developing digital advertising products, especially on the demand/buying side platform.
