Principal Partner Enablement Program Manager

As a Principal Partner Enablement Program Manager, you will lead silicon planning and co-engineering with one or more silicon partners, diving into the intricacies of silicon and software interaction. You will collaborate closely with technical teams at Microsoft and silicon partners to drive from vision to execution, releasing new Windows PCs and experiences tightly integrated with partners’ silicon designs.

Responsibilities

• Lead practices and rhythm of business for efficient and productive co-engineering engagement with silicon partners, identifying joint investment areas from inception to market.
• Drive collaboration with engineering teams to ensure recommendations and plans addressing joint investment areas are successfully pushed through to the development lifecycle.
• Ensure deep understanding of silicon partner products and roadmaps, assessing cross-dependencies between silicon productization, OS planning/development/release, and applications.
• Drive internal and external consensus to resolve cross-dependencies and alignment challenges.
• Coordinate with silicon partners to address issues and areas for improvement in their products/services (both in-development and in-market), analyzing blockers and assembling potential resolutions.
• Create requirements for and oversee implementation and maintenance of tools and infrastructure supporting co-engineering engagement and efficiency between Windows and silicon partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 8+ years of experience in a relevant technical domain (e.g., hardware, systems engineering), technical sales, marketing, product management, customer support, or cross-group/cross-functional engineering. OR equivalent experience.
• Understanding of both software and hardware lifecycles and the interplay between software and hardware development and schedules.
• Proficiency with issue tracking and project management tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Solid written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate business problems, alternatives, and product strategy.
• Experience influencing without authority and driving cross-functional alignment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 12+ years of experience in hardware/software product/service/project/program management or cross-group/cross-functional engineering. OR equivalent experience.

Pay

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $142,800 - $274,800 per year. For specific work locations within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
