Principal Acquisition Analysts/Program Leads
Responsibilities
Provide acquisition and program support to a NAVSEA Major Defense Acquisition Program (MDAP)
Lead and oversee acquisition management activities related to the delivery, integration, and tracking of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Contractor Furnished Equipment (CFE) for Navy ship platforms and systems
Monitor and report on equipment delivery status, identify risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies to support successful program execution
Support program planning, documentation, milestone preparation, and stakeholder coordination across government and industry partners
Analyze schedules, cost estimates, and performance data to ensure alignment with program goals and requirements
Provide acquisition support in accordance with DoD 5000 series and NAVSEA acquisition processes
Develop and present briefings, reports, and deliverables to senior leadership within the PEO and supporting program offices
Serve as a liaison between technical and programmatic stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best practices in program management and acquisition strategy
Qualifications
- 10+ years of program/project management experience in DoD/Navy acquisition
- Understanding of Navy/defense acquisition policies, processes, equipment integration, and program life-cycle program support
- Experience delivering GFE and CFE and combat systems for new construction and sustainment programs
- Ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders across geographically dispersed teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to include experience preparing formal reports and briefings for senior government officials
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and program tracking tools
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, finance, english, history, computer science, economics, mathematics, communications, accounting, education, or science discipline
- 12+ years of experience in DoD/Navy program management, government technical management, or industry business management roles
- DAWIA certification in program management
- Experience supporting a Navy Program Office
- Familiarity with shipyard operations, logistics planning, and/or configuration management
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM), Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), and Acquisition Strategy Development
Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $80,000.00 to $100,000.00 (annualized USD).
