Key job responsibilities

• Serve as a front-line leader responsible for executing daily operations at a Prime Air Drone Delivery Station
• Lead and support teams across flight operations, ground handling, and fulfillment to ensure safe, efficient, and customer-focused delivery performance
• Drive key operational metrics including safety, quality, and delivery efficiency
• Monitor real-time operations to remove barriers and maintain system uptime
• Partner with Operations Managers and cross-functional teams to execute staffing and operational plans
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Identify and implement process improvements
• Develop and coach associates
• Provide clear escalation and communication during active operations
• Directly manage a team of hourly associates, overseeing scheduling, performance management, and day-to-day coaching and development
• In partnership with HR, address associate relations matters including attendance, performance concerns, and corrective action as needed
• Maintain accurate timekeeping, headcount tracking, and staffing records for your team

Basic Qualifications

• 1+ years of direct people management, including performance management and employee development experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience
• Experience in a fast-paced, automated, industrial, logistics, production or manufacturing environment
• Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
• Ability to work in an environment where the noise level varies and is subject to variable temperatures and weather conditions, including working outside in outdoor temperatures and refrigerated environments
• Experience reviewing and analyzing performance metrics to identify areas of opportunity that will drive performance improvement
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
• Demonstrated record of good attendance and the ability to consistently arrive on time for scheduled shifts

• Experience working cross functionally with tech teams

Pay

Base salary range: $73,500.00 - $128,500.00 USD annually. Your package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
