Area Manager
About the role
The Area Manager for our Phoenix, AZ Fulfillment Center will oversee daily operations, ensuring accuracy and productivity in receiving, storing, and shipping products. This role requires a strong leadership presence and effective communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations in a fast-paced e-commerce distribution environment
- Establish and enforce operational standards
- Train and orient new associates
- Monitor and improve processes based on associate feedback and data analysis
- Maintain a positive work environment and foster open communication
- Document attendance, efficiency, behavior, and safety
- Investigate and implement process improvements
Requirements
- Associate’s degree preferred, Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2-4 years supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication
- Strong attention to detail and intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office, timekeeping software)
- Able to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends
