Primary Care Physician - Family Medicine or Med/Peds

About the role

Fenway Health is seeking a MD or DO to join our Primary Care team. The ideal candidate will deliver patient-centered, trauma-informed, and affirming primary care, collaborate within an interdisciplinary team, and champion equity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered, trauma-informed, and affirming primary care to a diverse patient population across the lifespan.
• Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team of providers, nurses, behavioral health clinicians, and care coordinators.
• Champion equity by providing care that respects and affirms the identities, lived experiences, and challenges of each patient.
• Participate in clinical quality improvement and contribute to our integrated model of care, which includes HIV services, behavioral health, and gender-affirming care.

Requirements

• MD or DO licensed (or license-eligible) in Massachusetts.
• Committed to delivering high-quality, culturally competent care in a fast-paced, community health setting.
• Passionate about working with LGBTQIA+ communities, BIPOC patients, and other marginalized groups.
• Eager to be part of a progressive organization that blends clinical care with advocacy, research, and education.
• At least two years of clinical experience as an NP/PA in community health, public health, or trauma-informed care is highly valued.
• Strong commitment to team-based care and an ability to thrive in a mission- and values-driven environment.

Qualifications

• A MD or DO degree.
• Current Massachusetts license.
• Board eligibility or certification in family medicine, internal medicine, or medicine/pediatrics.
• Current AAHIVM credentials or ability to obtain credentials within 2 years of hire.
• Demonstrated ability to work respectfully and effectively with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, perspectives, and life experiences.
