About the role

HII – Mission Technologies is seeking a Pricing Analyst to join our team in Fair Lakes, VA. The ideal candidate will have a general understanding of the DoD/government contracting environment and strong attention to detail. This is an excellent opportunity for a self‑starter to grow and contribute within a dynamic, fast‑paced pricing team. This role supports a hybrid work schedule, with a blend of on-site and remote work.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to the preparation of fully compliant cost models.
• Covers pricing review meetings.
• Reads and understands RFPs and prepares clarifying questions related to pricing and price submission.
• Participates in cost model peer-review process and ensures quality control prior to submission to the government.
• Assists Contracts team with Cost Narrative.
• Develops subcontractor pricing requirements and data calls in coordination with subcontracts team.
• Performs analysis, modeling and what-if analysis for management decision making.
• Proactively engages on assigned bids and raises issues early for mitigation and disposition.
• Maintains complete and orderly files to ensure an audit-ready posture.
• Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• 0-2 years’ experience in pricing, accounting, business, or finance, with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Operations, Business Administration or in related field or a High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Intermediate proficiency with MS Excel; basic proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint.
• Attentive to detail and highly organized.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.

Preferred Experience

• Government contracting related experience, preferably in a pricing or pricing related role
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
• Experience presenting financial data to senior-level leadership

Pay

Anticipated Salary Range: $54,418.00 - $70,000.00
