Pricing Analyst

Position Summary

The Pricing Analyst will work closely with the Sales team, Yield Management, Terminal Managers, and Senior Management. They will provide analytical support for preparing pricing proposals for internal review and approval, send proposals to customers, and communicate with relevant sales, pricing, and operations resources.

• Collaborate cross-departmentally to provide pricing involving other Pyle business units
• Act as the liaison between LTL pricing and the Solutions Design department for proposal creation and a strategic thought partner regarding process evaluation
• Collect and analyze appropriate support data to submit pricing requests to the pricing committee as needed
• Submit proposals to customers and sales within the required timeframe
• Maintain accurate reporting of all pricing activities, including updating SalesForce
• Coordinate with sales field to prepare pricing analysis for management review
• Represent the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices
• Conduct data analysis and make recommendations based on input from various departments, including Sales, Solutions Design, Operations, etc.

Requirements

• College degree or equivalent
• Attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments with specific deadlines
• Effective interpersonal skills, including the ability to interface with customers and internal departments
• Self-motivated and highly organized
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Previous LTL Pricing experience, transportation, logistics, customer service, sales, and/or rates experience is encouraged, but not required
