About the role
The Pricing Analyst is responsible for providing key decision makers with information to support company initiatives and strategy related to Cencora’s PRxO Generics business. This role primarily involves the analysis and interpretation of data for issue resolution research, and the creation and enhancement of standard report requests for internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
- Perform competitive data comparisons on Cencora prospects, including keying in invoices and conducting PRxO sales and margin analysis for existing customers.
- Develop monthly reporting for Sales associates using technical skills such as Microsoft Access, incorporating current Generics Initiatives and enhancing/streamlining existing reporting.
- Conduct audits, including determination of qualification, approval, and reporting on PRxO rebates; serve as the sole approver for high-value Monthly Advance rebate payouts.
- Upload data into Apex and analyze monthly industry trends to make recommendations.
- Conduct and analyze price comparisons for current customers via standardized reporting tools; ensure accuracy of reported information.
- Handle any Walgreens monthly reporting and analytic issue resolution.
- Assess issues related to SAP Substitution, Setup, pricing, or supply and determine appropriate solutions.
- Create reports for any credit/rebills needed.
- Develop presentations utilizing multiple data sources.
- Generate reports such as month-end, ad hoc, rebate, and administration reports; requires consolidation of data from various systems and sources.
- Demonstrate an excellent understanding of the PRxO Generics solution and messaging.
- Document processes and procedures related to primary duties and responsibilities.
- Analyze and interpret ad-hoc reporting requests for Generic Managers and Directors; maintain daily activities of the PRxO Generic Program.
- Conduct in-depth Leakage Analysis, interpretation, and reporting to customer/chain/channel level.
- Willingness to work extended hours as needed to meet objectives; travel to trade shows, conferences, national and regional sales meetings as required.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or similar vocations, generally obtained through completion of a four-year Bachelor’s Degree Program or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of two (2) years of related and progressively responsible experience.
Skills
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint) with superior proficiency in Excel and Access.
- Visual Basic knowledge is a plus.
- Experience with report writing tools preferred.
- Working knowledge of company computer systems and programs preferred.
- Knowledge of SAP systems.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and provide insight and recommendations to upper-level management.
- Ability to read and interpret complex contractual agreements regarding PRxO impact.
