Prep Cook | Part-Time | Iowa Events Center

Responsibilities

• Aids in delivering food to designated function areas.
• Fulfills prep duties as outlined in a chef-prepared list.
• Cooking and plating various dishes such as salads, entrees, and desserts.
• Maintains proper food storage practices.
• Safeguards a positive and compliant workplace environment.
• Evaluates and adheres to health, sanitation, safety, and employment regulations.
• Maintains a clean and organized kitchen environment.
• Communicates effectively with diverse personalities in various work settings.

Qualifications

• Previous experience or training in food preparation or similar kitchen experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and extended hours.
