Key Responsibilities
- Ensure food quality, consistency and presentation in all foodservice areas during service of the GWA community.
- Responsible for all foodservice areas to include proper preparation, labeling, storage of all food and beverage items.
- Maintain health, safety and sanitation standards according to Health Department regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with the Food Service Director to ensure smooth service and satisfaction to our entire community base.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to encourage teamwork and foster development.
- Engage with our community when appropriate to gather feedback and address opportunities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced kitchen environment.
- Proficiency in a variety of cooking techniques and cuisines.
- Attendance and time management abilities are a must.
- Excellent organization, communication and the ability to multitask.
- Up to date knowledge of culinary trends, nutrition and dietary requirements.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation and regulatory compliance.
