Premier & Private Banking - Private Bank Relationship Manager
About the role
The Premier & Private Bank Relationship Manager position is ideal for someone looking to build a career in financial services. You will be the main point of contact for a select group of the Bank’s affluent clients. Your primary responsibilities include deposit portfolio growth, maintaining positive relationships with Premier & Private Bank clients, and expanding and retaining relationships with new and existing clients.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate, retain, and grow Premier and Private Bank clients
- Tailored provision of Premier & Private Bank’s products and services to attract high net worth individuals and businesses
- Maintain and expand ongoing relationships with new and existing Premier & Private Bank clients
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and related work experience
- Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in progressive sales management, extraordinary client service, and client/prospect calling experience
Desired Skills
- Previous Premier & Private Banker experience and exceptional Client Services experience
- Previous Wealth Management / Financial Planning Experience
- Passionate and motivated self-starter
- Strong work ethic and ability to complete work accurately
- Ability to think logically in order to analyze situations and make sound decisions
- Proficient at working with multiple computer and Microsoft Office software applications
Skills and Abilities
- Client service driven; very responsive and understanding to the needs of Premier & Private Banking client issues and concerns
- Specialized competencies including basics of financial planning, asset/investment types and allocation methodologies, basics of wealth management
- Strong financial acumen and conceptual understanding of risk management; specialized competencies in delivery of deposit, loan and other banking products and services
- Demonstrated ability to speak effectively to internal and external clients
- Strong professional and etiquette behaviors
- Passionate about proactive relationship building of new business from existing clients and referrals
- Proven track record of prospecting new relationships, as well as enhancing existing ones, and meeting or exceeding goals
- Proven sales skills and client management experience
- Cooperates and works collaboratively toward solutions that generally benefit all involved parties
- Demonstrates concern for achieving or surpassing results against an internal or external standard of excellence
- Makes decisions authoritatively and wisely, after adequately contemplating various available courses of action
Work Environment
A professional setting. May be requested to work evenings and weekends for special program events. Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel is required on an as needed basis to exceed the expectations of the client.
