Premier & Private Banking - Private Client Advisor

About the role

The Private Client Advisor role involves connecting quickly with people in a poised, convincing, and enthusiastic way. This job will entail working at an extremely fast pace and will require working cooperatively with and through people in order to complete tasks and motivate others.

Responsibilities

• Establish an entrusted banker-client relationship
• Carefully coordinate assigned client financial needs through a proactive and disciplined approach that reaches across multiple lines of business and service/support teams
• Protect all client and bank information
• Study and understand broad local and national economic and business issues
• Engage and help determine needs for affluent clients
• Achieve specific sales and service goals on a quarterly and annual basis
• Proudly participate and represent NBH in various community, civic, and professional organizations
• Build a great rapport with clients and fellow associates

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and related work experience
• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in progressive sales management, extraordinary client service and client/prospect calling experience
• Must be/become registered and licensed in the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) as required by the S.A.F.E. Act
• Compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and NBH's compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptable background check investigation results
• Meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents
• Valid driver’s license

Qualifications

• Previous Private Banking experience and exceptional Client Services experience
• Previous Investment Management / Estate Planning / Trust Services Experience and financial industry designations
• Previous sales experience in the banking and/or financial services industry
• Bilingual language skills
