Key Responsibilities
- Makes outbound calls and/or handles inbound inquiries from potential health insurance customers
- Engages prospects in friendly, professional conversations to understand their needs and intent
- Asks qualifying questions to determine eligibility, interest level, and readiness to enroll
- Clearly explains the next steps in the health insurance enrollment process (without selling or advising on plans)
- Identifies and filters out uninterested, unqualified, or non-serious leads
- Accurately documents call outcomes and customer information in the CRM system
- Warm-transfers or schedules qualified, serious prospects with licensed sales agents
- Maintains compliance with company policies, call scripts, and data privacy standards
- Mets or exceeds daily and weekly activity and qualification targets
Qualifications
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Comfortable speaking on the phone for extended periods
- Ability to build quick rapport and handle objections professionally
- Organized, reliable, and goal-oriented
- Basic computer skills
- Previous call center, customer service, or sales experience is a plus but not required
