- Follows the dealership's structured selling process.
- Assists customers in selecting a vehicle.
- Provides thorough product information and demonstrations.
- Enters complete customer and vehicle information into the dealership's system.
- Offers test drives and ensures proper identification.
- Satisfies transportation needs for new and used vehicle purchases.
- Ensures preparedness of sold vehicles for customer delivery.
- Delivers vehicles to customers and explains features, warranty, and paperwork.
- Exhibits a high level of commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Understands federal, state, and local laws governing retail auto sales.
- Reads, understands, and maintains compliance with GM Dealer programs.
- Introduces customers to service department personnel.
- Fulfills post-delivery tasks and special requests.
- Maintains a prospect development and follow-up system.
- Helps keep the used-vehicle department neat and clean.
- Establishes personal income goals and devises strategies to meet them.
- Reviews and analyzes daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly performance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- One to three months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid Driver's License.
