Pre-Litigation Division Manager

About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced Pre-Litigation Division Manager to oversee its pre-litigation case management team. This is a non-attorney leadership role focused on driving operational excellence, mentoring team members, and ensuring the efficient handling of personal injury pre-litigation cases. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plaintiff personal injury pre-litigation case management, demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the pre-litigation case management team.
• Lead, mentor, and support case managers to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality client service.
• Monitor team performance, productivity, and case progression.
• Assist with training, onboarding, and professional development of team members.
• Ensure cases are handled efficiently from intake through settlement.
• Maintain quality control and ensure compliance with firm procedures and best practices.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff to improve processes and optimize case outcomes.
• Utilize case management software to monitor case activity and team performance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of plaintiff personal injury pre-litigation case management experience.
• Previous management, supervisory, or team leadership experience is required.
• Non-attorney candidates only (paralegal background is welcome but not required).
• Experience mentoring, training, or overseeing a case management team.
• Familiarity with SmartAdvocate is preferred.
• Strong organizational, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong understanding of plaintiff personal injury pre-litigation processes.
• Ability to grow into a larger leadership role within the organization.

Pay

Base Salary: Up to $120,000, based on experience.
