Practice Supervisor
About the Role
The Site Manager is responsible for the business operations of the physician practice, including managing a satellite office in Cartersville. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and oversees various administrative and clinical support functions.
Responsibilities
- Hires, trains, and supervises employees.
- Ensures practice compliance with JCAHO, FLSA, CLIA, OSHA, ADA, EEO, and licensure requirements.
- Completes check-in and checkout procedures using the medical office information system.
- Answers and routes incoming telephone communications.
- Performs basic clerical duties such as filing and typing.
- Receives, copies, and routes mail appropriately.
- Maintains accurate medical records.
- Calls in prescriptions with physicians' approval.
- Provides backup for all practice-based business office functions.
- Communicates effectively with team members, physicians, and patients.
- Demonstrates cost consciousness.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or clinical field preferred, or minimum of five years of prior experience in a medical office.
- Minimum of five years of experience in a medical office or front office responsibilities.
- Experience with medical office information systems, electronic billing, and automated functions.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9/CPT coding, Medicare/Medicaid guidelines, and worker's compensation.
Pay
$28.55 - $42.85 per hour
Schedule
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
