Full-time, benefits-eligible position based in Rome, GA with responsibility for a satellite office in Cartersville.
About the role
The Site Manager oversees the business operations of a pulmonary-medicine physician practice, ensuring compliance and efficient workflow.
Responsibilities
- Hire, train, and supervise employees.
- Ensure practice compliance with JCAHO, FLSA, CLIA, OSHA, ADA, EEO, and state licensure requirements.
- Manage check-in and check-out procedures using the medical office information system.
- Answer and route incoming telephone calls.
- Perform basic clerical duties (filing, typing, mail distribution).
- Maintain accurate medical records.
- Call in prescriptions with physician approval.
- Provide backup for all practice-based business office functions.
- Communicate clearly with team members, physicians, and patients.
- Demonstrate cost consciousness.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or clinical field preferred, or minimum of five years of prior experience in a medical office.
- Minimum of five years of experience in a medical office or front-office responsibilities.
- Experience with medical office information systems, electronic billing, and other automated functions.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9/CPT coding, Medicare/Medicaid guidelines, and workers’ compensation.
Pay
$28.55 – $42.85 per hour.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
