About the role

The Practice Manager at Coastal Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of clinics, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, organize, implement, and direct the day-to-day functions of the clinics and their programs and activities.
  • Implement written policies and procedures that govern the operations of the clinics.
  • Conduct performance evaluations for staff positions.
  • Interpret the practice’s policies and procedures to employees, patients, family members, government agencies, etc., as necessary.
  • Review and develop a plan of correction for deficiencies noted during survey inspections and provide a written copy of such plan to leadership.
  • Maintain an adequate liaison with patients and ensure accurate public information describing the services provided.
  • Maintain an excellent working relationship with the medical profession, providers, and other health-related facilities and organizations.
  • Absorb administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability for directing the activities and programs of the market/division.
  • Develop and maintain the practice budget.
  • Recruit, interview, select, and hire practice personnel, supervisors, and staff members.
  • Ensure an adequate number of appropriately trained professionals and personnel are on duty at all times to meet the needs of the patients.
  • Practice and adhere to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement.”

Requirements

Minimum three to five years’ experience in a healthcare or clinic setting. Bachelor’s Degree in health or business administration or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
