About the role
The Frist Clinic is part of HCA Healthcare, a leading provider of healthcare services. This position is incentive eligible.
Responsibilities
- Directs and supervises the day-to-day functions of The Frist Clinic Gastroenterology North.
- Plans, develops, organizes, implements, and directs the operations of the clinics and their programs and activities.
- Implements written policies and procedures that govern the operations of the clinics.
- Counsels and interprets the practice’s policies and procedures to employees, patients, family members, government agencies, etc.
- Maintains an adequate liaison with patients and ensures accurate public information about services provided.
- Makes routine inspections of the practices to ensure policies and procedures are being implemented and followed.
- Maintains a good public relations program that serves the best interests of the practice and the community.
- Maintains an excellent working relationship with the medical profession, providers, and other health-related facilities and organizations.
- Recruits, interviews, selects, and hires practice personnel, supervisors, and staff members.
- Assists in setting the tone and atmosphere of the practice and creates a Healthy Work Environment.
- Assumes the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability of directing the activities and programs of the market/division.
- Develops and maintains the practice budget.
- Ensures an adequate number of appropriately trained professionals and personnel are on duty at all times to meet the needs of the patients.
- Adheres to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement.”
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in health or business administration or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
- Minimum three to five years’ experience in a healthcare or clinic setting.
Qualifications
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be able to pass a drug test.
Skills
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards.
