Practice Manager 1 - Newton Oncology

About the Role

Supports the overall day-to-day administrative and clinical activities of a practice. Works with the Director of Physician Operations to implement and oversee operational activities and programs to ensure the attainment of business plans. Collaborates with the area director and practice physicians to ensure efficient and effective daily operation of assigned practices, including supervision and evaluation of practice staff. Ensures each office maintains an effective operating environment, assuring efficient and safe operations of all services in response to patient, physician, and staff needs. The scope is small based on providers, staff, and locations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, or a closely related field Required.
• In lieu of a degree, six (6) years of relevant work experience will be accepted in addition to the required experience.

Work Experience

• 2 years of experience in a medical practice, hospital, or other healthcare setting with demonstrated leadership experience or equivalent combination of education and experience Required.
• In lieu of a degree, eight (8) years of experience in a medical practice, hospital, or other healthcare setting with demonstrated leadership experience or equivalent combination of education and experience Required.
