About the role

The Back Office Assistant - LVN is a licensed healthcare professional who performs non-invasive routine technical services under the supervision of a licensed physician or nurse practitioner in the medical practice setting.

This is a part-time benefited position supporting our SOCPA primary care practice. This position will primarily be located in Irvine, CA but may be asked to support other SOCPA locations as needed.

Pay

Pay Range:

  • Minimum $29.48
  • Midpoint $39.04
  • Maximum $48.61

Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.

Schedule

Day – 08hrs

Requirements

  • Graduate of a Licensed/Vocational Nursing Program
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Licensed Vocational Nurse – CA (LVN)
  • Previous experience or internship in a clinic or medical practice
  • Ability to lift and carry 25-35 lbs
  • Push/pull 50-100 lbs (e.g., empty bed, stretcher)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working in a back office medical practice or clinic
  • Experience working in a pediatric environment
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish
  • First Aid Certification

  • Frequent bending, carrying objects, climbing, keyboard use/repetitive motion, pinching/fine motor activities, push/pull, reaching forward/overhead, sitting, squatting/kneeling/crawling, standing, talking or hearing, twisting, walking, wrist position deviation
  • Lifting (Floor to waist level): Constant 67% or more, Frequent 36-66%
  • Lifting (Waist level and above): Constant 67% or more, Frequent 36-66%
  • Sensory requirements: Color discrimination, depth perception, far vision, hearing, near vision
  • Environmental exposure: Airborne communicable diseases, bloodborne pathogens, chemicals, dust particulate matter, extreme noise levels, extreme temperatures, radiation, uneven surfaces or elevations
