Role Overview
A Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) provides direct patient care under RN supervision, following state Scope of Practice and organizational policies. They play a key role in delivering compassionate, individualized care to patients with kidney disease, contributing to the organization’s mission and vision.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe and efficient patient care
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Foster strong relationships with patients and staff
- Support holistic patient needs and improve patient outcomes
- Promote a positive environment for patients and team members
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 1 year LVN general nursing experience
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program or equivalent
- Valid LVN or LPN license in practicing state and current CPR certification
