Practice Administrator – Gastroenterology

Responsibilities

  • Oversight of utilization management and daily business operations
  • Financial, operational, administrative, and regulatory compliance
  • Aid in preparing operating and capital budget requests
  • Support setup of new practices and onboarding of new physicians and staff
  • Manage physician departures and office moves/closures
  • Mentor peers
  • Completion of special projects as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare or Business
  • Prior leadership experience in medical group management, healthcare leadership, population health management, or transformation leadership
  • Master’s degree in Healthcare or related field preferred
  • Preference given for physician practice-specific health delivery experience

Qualifications

  • Experience in physician practice operations
  • Strong background in medical specialty practices
  • Gastroenterology experience preferred
  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple sites and priorities
  • Skilled in supporting physicians, APPs, staff, patient experience, growth initiatives, and overall practice performance
  • Management and leadership of assigned practices of varying complexity
