About the role
The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a dynamic ProServe Account Executive (PAE) to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Responsibilities
- Engage new and existing customers in the Financial with transformative projects involving IT Strategy, distributed architecture, and hybrid cloud operations.
- Work closely with ProServe Cloud Architects, Engagement Managers, and Delivery Consultants to drive customer success and business growth.
- Build trust with customers, identify applicable AWS Professional Services offerings, and create proposals and secure customer signoff of Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Stay connected with customers post-launch to ensure delivery of agreed customer business outcomes (CBOs) as outlined in the SOW.
- Translate technical concepts into business value for customers through experience in selling services within the technology/consulting sector.
- Manage CRM systems, execute sales methodologies, and demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
- Measure performance against key metrics including revenue, billable bookings, and customer satisfaction (CSAT).
Requirements
- Lead business outcomes by articulating accelerated customer outcomes through cloud transformation.
- Develop long-term strategic customer transformation roadmaps.
- Create unified account plans and pursuit plans that align with AWS account team (direct sales).
- Establish executive relationships across Business & Technology groups and secure executive sponsorship of programs.
- Network internally at AWS, particularly with internal organizations critical to success: Account Team (#OneTeam), Partner team, Finance, Legal.
- Act as a strategic advisor and expert with deep knowledge of the cross-section of the customers’ business and available technology solutions.
- Collaborate with Amazon Global Sales (AGS) representatives for a coordinated approach on key accounts.
- Support scale through shared learnings and mechanisms across the ProServe team.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of B2B or enterprise sales with a focus on hunting new business experience.
- Experience exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach or equivalent.
- Experience working with, presenting to, and negotiating with C-level executives, IT, lines of business, procurement, finance, legal and internal stakeholders for sizeable commercial/enterprise deals.
- Experience in technology-related business development, sales strategy, operations, or other sales-related fields.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
