About the role

The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a dynamic ProServe Account Executive (PAE) to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Responsibilities

  • Engage new and existing customers in the Financial Services sector with transformative projects involving IT Strategy, distributed architecture, and hybrid cloud operations.
  • Work closely with ProServe Cloud Architects, Engagement Managers, and Delivery Consultants to drive customer success and business growth.
  • Build trust with customers, identify applicable AWS Professional Services offerings, and create proposals to secure customer signoff of Statements of Work (SOWs).
  • Stay connected with customers post-launch to ensure they are achieving the agreed business outcomes (CBOs) as outlined in the SOW.
  • Translate technical concepts into business value for customers through experience in selling services within the technology/consulting sector.
  • Manage CRM systems, execute sales methodologies, and demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
  • Measure performance against key metrics including revenue, billable bookings, and customer satisfaction (CSAT).

Requirements

  • Experience with sales targets, business development, and driving customer satisfaction.
  • Experience with cloud technologies and IT strategies.
  • 8+ years of technology sales or account management experience.
  • Experience exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach.
  • Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, IT, and lines of businesses across organizations.

Qualifications

  • Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses or experience in solving complex business challenges.
  • Experience in the financial services industry.
  • Experience with presentations and speaking with executives, IT, management, and developers.

Skills

  • Ability to articulate accelerated customer outcomes through cloud transformation.
  • High Bias for Action to Deliver Results in ProServe and Platform bookings in the near term.
  • Establish Executive relationships across Business & Technology groups and executive sponsorship of programs.
  • Establish an internal network at AWS, particularly with internal organizations critical to success such as the Account Team (#OneTeam), Partner team, Global Services organization, Finance, Legal.
  • Deep knowledge of the cross-section of the customers’ business and the cloud ecosystem.
  • Ability to lead business development efforts by engaging Financial Services customers and driving high-value engagements.
  • Collaborate with Amazon Global Sales (AGS) representatives to ensure a coordinated approach for key accounts.
  • Develop a unified account plan and pursuit plan that aligns with AWS account team (direct sales).
  • Support scale through shared learnings and mechanisms across the ProServe team.

Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and parental leave.

Pay

Base salary range for this position is $157,100.00 - $212,500.00 USD annually.

Schedule

This customer facing role may require up to 50% travel to customer sites.
