Sr ProServe Account Executive - Financial Services, NAMER FINANCIAL SERVICES
About the role
The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a dynamic ProServe Account Executive (PAE) to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Responsibilities
- Engage new and existing customers in the Financial Services sector with transformative projects involving IT Strategy, distributed architecture, and hybrid cloud operations.
- Work closely with ProServe Cloud Architects, Engagement Managers, and Delivery Consultants to drive customer success and business growth.
- Build trust with customers, identify applicable AWS Professional Services offerings, and create proposals to secure customer signoff on Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Stay connected with customers post-launch to ensure they are achieving the agreed-upon business outcomes (CBOs) as outlined in the SOW.
- Translate technical concepts into business value for customers through experience in selling services within the technology/consulting sector.
- Manage CRM systems, execute sales methodologies, and demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
- Measure performance against key metrics including revenue, billable bookings, and customer satisfaction (CSAT).
Requirements
- Experience with sales targets, business development, and driving customer satisfaction.
- Experience with cloud technologies and IT strategies.
- 8+ years of technology sales or account management experience.
- Experience exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach.
- Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, IT, and lines of businesses across organizations.
Qualifications
- Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses or experience in solving complex business challenges.
- Experience in the financial services industry.
- Experience with presentations and speaking with executives, IT, management, and developers.
Skills
- Ability to articulate accelerated customer outcomes through cloud transformation.
- High Bias for Action to Deliver Results in ProServe and Platform bookings in the near term.
- Establish Executive relationships across Business & Technology groups, executive sponsorship of programs.
- Establish an internal network at AWS, particularly with internal organizations critical to success: Account Team (#OneTeam), Partner team, Global Services organization, Finance, Legal.
- Deep knowledge of the cross-section of the customers’ business and the cloud ecosystem.
- Performance measurement against key metrics including revenue, billable bookings, and customer satisfaction (CSAT).

USA, CA, San Francisco - $157,100.00 - $212,500.00 USD annually
USA, IL, Chicago - $142,800.00 - $193,200.00 USD annually
USA, NJ, Jersey City - $157,100.00 - $212,500.00 USD annually
USA, NY, New York - $157,100.00 - $212,500.00 USD annually
