Penn MachineryNOW HIRINGPower Systems Product Support Sales ManagerThis position can be based out of any of our 6 locations:Poughkeepsie, NY; Bloomingburg, NY; Bronx, NY; Holtsville, NY; Medford, NY; or Newington, CT Pay: $120,000-$140,000/year (dependent on relevant experience)Bonus: 25% bonus potentialBenefits:Medical / Dental / Vision Insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off & company holidaysCompany provided cell phone, laptop, & vehicle Key Qualifications:Minimum 3+ years of sales management experience, with demonstrated success in developing and leading high-performing teamsIndustry experience in power generation, energy, industrial equipment, heavy equipment, construction, marine, data center, utility, oil & gas, mining, or related sectors highly preferredProven ability to analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs to drive growth strategiesStrong negotiation, relationship management, and customer engagement skills with a focus on long-term partnershipsSolid financial acumen, including experience with pricing strategies, margins, and profitability analysisHighly self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environmentExcellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skillsValid driver’s license required with ability to travel locally up to 50% Responsibilities: Key resources (people, leadership, time) are provided to successfully sell engine parts and servicePlan, direct and coordinate activities to develop and control sales and service programs to produce our targeted engine parts and service sales volume and marginsProvide a high level of customer satisfaction in alignment with our corporate valuesProvide adequate sales coverageTake appropriate actions for significant growth opportunities by planning and controlling marketing strategies, tactics and sales techniques for promoting sales of CSA's and product support Engine Product Support Sales operation is effectively and efficiently managedReview quotation worksheets, contracts and purchase orders prior to acceptanceMaintain working knowledge of Caterpillar Merchandising ProgramsMaintain positive working relationship with Caterpillar Sales and Support GroupsReview receivable with sales force and support collection efforts in conjunction with the Credit DepartmentWork effectively with Parts and Service Management to determine pricing of work, control costs and communicate work schedules in an all-win manner for all stakeholders Support is provided to Power Systems Sales and Project Management initiatives by effectively collaborating with service departmentsCollaborate with Service Supervisors in developing and implementing marketing plans for promoting sales of CSAs and product supportWork effectively with Sales force to provide CSA's, life cycle pricing and customized product support offerings for new opportunitiesWork effectively with Project Management to ensure product support coverage exists for all new installations including customer training A high-performing workforce through effective hiring, development and retention of talentAchieve a culture of high productivity and morale by fostering engagement, collaboration, and safetyBuild a high-performing team by developing members to consistently achieve job expectations through coaching, continuous feedback, and accountabilityTake accountability for talent development by regularly reviewing and discussing employee development activities, such as onboarding, training, and career development initiatives A culture that focuses on safety and safe work habitsBe an active part in the continuous improvement of H.O.
