Power Products Technical Specialist - Texas
Position Purpose
This role is an opportunity to work closely with our largest global customers. You will provide real-time technical support to technicians in the field and maintain industry-leading equipment availability for our rental customers.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities
- Provide accurate technical information to customers to support generator diagnostics and repair
- Maintain high level of phone and email response rates to customer enquiries
- Travel to support technical customer issues and provide product training as required
- Analyze warranty claims to identify any emerging product concerns
- Prioritize product quality concerns for resolution with the manufacturing and engineering teams
- Drive conformance to JCB standards for service concern closure and field action
- Communicate with global service teams on common service and product concerns and work collaboratively on resolutions
- Support testing of failed components to ascertain detailed failure information
- Communicate any necessary product field action via technical bulletins, product updates, e-mail, and phone
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to read advanced electrical schematics and control logic flows
- Strong technical diagnostic skills on power generation equipment and components
- 5 years of experience in power generation and internal combustion engine equipment, maintenance and repair
- Experience working with large rental fleets preferred, but not required
- Must pass any drug screens, background checks, and any pre-employment tests, which will be conducted in accordance with applicable law.

Job Conditions
- Both office environment and occasionally manufacturing/factory environment.
- Subject to noise and temperature changes.
