Power Generation Product Specialist

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with power generation customers, including: Natural gas power plants, Combined-cycle facilities, Nuclear plants, Coal-fired plants, Renewable energy facilities.
- Identify opportunities for new pump equipment, upgrades, retrofits, repairs, and service contracts.
- Provide technical consultation on pump applications, including: Boiler feed pumps, Condensate pumps, Cooling water pumps, Circulating water pumps, Slurry and ash handling pumps.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and bid responses.
- Work with engineering and operations teams to develop customer solutions.
- Carry out site visits and assess equipment performance.
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms.
- Manage sales forecasts and maintain CRM records.
- Attend industry conferences and customer meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field.
- Experience in industrial sales, rotating equipment, pumps, valves, or power generation.
- A strong understanding of power plant operations and maintenance.
- The ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- A willingness to travel extensively.
Skills
- Knowledge of pump manufacturers.
- Understanding of maintenance, reliability, and plant outage planning.
- Experience with capital equipment sales cycles.
- Contract negotiation and strategic account management.
