About the role

Plans, develops, and coordinates in‑house product training programs for field support personnel and customers. Obtains information needed to prepare in‑house training programs; prepares training materials; develops course content; determines methodology; and coordinates the development of training aids. Conducts training sessions and develops criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities. May utilize trainers with technical expertise. Continuously revises lesson plans to meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain information needed to prepare in‑house training programs.
  • Prepare training materials and develop course content.
  • Determine training methodology and coordinate development of training aids.
  • Conduct training sessions for field support personnel and customers.
  • Develop criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities.
  • Utilize subject‑matter‑expert trainers as needed.
  • Continuously revise lesson plans to incorporate new requirements and updated technical information.
  • Proctor computer‑based training and exams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent: NNS Apprentice School graduate; high school diploma plus 5 years combined manufacturing, shipbuilding, trades, military experience or other relevant non‑exempt experience; graduation from Navy Nuclear Power School).
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • No security clearance required.
  • Full‑time availability with multiple shift options.

Pay

Salary range: $57,000.00 to $72,000.00 (estimated base pay; final compensation determined by experience, qualifications, and other job‑related factors).

Schedule
