POUT INSTRUCTOR PRODUCT TRAINER 1
About the role
Plans, develops, and coordinates in-house product training programs for field support personnel and customers. Obtains information needed to prepare training programs, creates training materials, develops course content, determines methodology, and coordinates the development of training aids. Conducts training sessions, establishes criteria for evaluating training effectiveness, and continuously revises lesson plans to incorporate new requirements and keep technical information current.
Responsibilities

- Develop criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities.
- Utilize subject‑matter expert trainers as needed.
- Continuously revise lesson plans to meet new training requirements and keep technical information up to date.
- Proctor computer‑based training and exams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent qualification).
- 0 years of exempt experience required.
- Equivalent qualifications may include:
- NNS Apprentice School graduate.
- High school diploma plus 5 years combined manufacturing, shipbuilding, trades, military experience, or other relevant non‑exempt experience.
- Graduation from Navy Nuclear Power School.
- U.S. citizenship required.

Pay
Salary range: $57,000.00 to $72,000.00 (estimated base pay; final compensation determined by experience, qualifications, and other job‑related factors).
Schedule
Full‑Time position with multiple shift options.
Relocation assistance is not available. This role is not eligible for telework and does not require travel or a security clearance.
