About the role

Dr. Shelley Liu, Associate Professor of Population Health Science and Policy, is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join her NIH R01-funded research program at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

Responsibilities

  • Leading methods development in Item Response Theory (IRT) and psychometric methods
  • Expertise in IRT, psychometrics, Bayesian inference are required
  • Additional expertise in cognitive diagnostic models and causal inference is preferred but optional
  • Led multiple first-author publications on methods development
  • Co-authored additional publications
  • Developed collaborations at a medical school
  • An excellent launchpad for a faculty career in quantitative psychology or psychometrics

Compensation

The salary range for the role is $72,500 - $80,000 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need.
