Post Harvest Specialist Cross-Department Support

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Eligible to obtain and maintain Ohio DCC cannabis employee credentials prior to start date
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or lead experience in a cannabis, pharmaceutical, food production, or other regulated manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated proficiency with METRC seed-to-sale tracking or equivalent cannabis compliance software
• Strong working knowledge of Ohio DCC regulations and Ohio Administrative Code 1301:18
• Ability to pass all required background checks per Ohio cannabis licensing requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Preferred Qualifications

• Vocational certification in agriculture, horticulture, food science, or related field experience
• Prior experience managing post-harvest or dry room operations in a licensed cannabis cultivation facility
• Experience with cannabis packaging compliance including DCC weight, labeling, and seal requirements
• Familiarity with ActionPac, automated packaging, or other production line equipment
• Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish) a plus

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and move throughout the facility for extended periods (8-10 hours)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to work in controlled environments with variable temperature, humidity, and exposure to cannabis plant material, dust, and odors
• Use of PPE including gloves, masks, hairnets, and lab coats required at all times in production areas
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as operational needs require
