Natural Resource Specialist Support

NEW Solutions connects these professionals with the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) through the Experienced Services Program (ESP).
About the role
The enrollee will provide technical advice and program support for natural resource management by assisting with planning, monitoring, environmental compliance, and implementation of resource improvement projects. Responsibilities include conducting investigations, preparing project documentation, supporting interdisciplinary reviews, maintaining and ensuring the quality of natural resource data, and coordinating compliance and enforcement reporting. The role also involves advising leadership on natural resource issues, providing training and user support, collaborating with stakeholders and conservation groups, and serving as a primary point of contact for local and regional natural resource partners.
Requirements
- Must be 55 years of age or older
- High School diploma or GED
- Degree with a minimum of 20 years of additional experience in Agronomy and surface use multi-resource impact analysis for development of authorized activities
- Experience conducting impact analysis of surface use and reclamation of disturbed areas from permitted and authorized activities
