Posting Details Job Title Post-Doctoral Scholar Requisition Number DU15093 Department Name 7H364:INTERNAL MEDICINE & DIVISIONS - RHEUMATO Work Location Lexington, KY Salary Range $59,000/year Type of Position Staff Position Time Status Full-Time Required Education PhD/MD-PhD Required Related Experience Immunology Required License/Registration/Certification None Physical Requirements | Handling animal and human samples Shift Monday – Friday 8a-5p, some weekends required Job Summary The Chakravarti Immunology Laboratory in the Division of Rheumatology at the University of Kentucky is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Scholar to investigate signaling mechanisms that regulate immune cell fate decisions in health and disease. The successful candidate will lead studies focused on the role of 14-3-3 proteins and immune regulation in autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. These studies integrate molecular signaling, cellular immunology, systems immunology, and translational human immunology using both animal and human model systems. Along with the application, applicants should submit a Curriculum Vitae, Cover Letter and one-page statement describing their immunology and cellular signaling related skills (Specific Request). Skills / Knowledge / Abilities Lab experience in handling immune cells, flow cytometry, cell culture and signaling is mandatory. Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
