Portfolio Officer

About the role

The Portfolio Officer assists Portfolio Managers, Relationship Managers, and Center Managers in the solicitation of new relationships and the retention of existing relationships, including loans and deposit accounts, and other services and products offered by the Bank.

Responsibilities

• Sales and operational support to the sales teams in the Centers
• Participation in Center functions to achieve earnings and growth objectives
• Contribution to meeting or exceeding Center budgetary goals and ensuring deposit, loan, and net income goals
• Support for the implementation and adherence to bank policies and procedures
• Compliance with and promotion of the Bank's Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) policies and objectives
• Management of personal sales efforts to meet or exceed Center goals with a specific production goal based on experience and Center location
• Presentation of The Citizens Experience to all external and internal customers
• Compliance with and staying updated on all policies and procedures, federal, and state laws applicable to the job
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university, or two to four years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference
• Ability to interpret bar graphs and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
• Knowledge of Outlook Internet software, Microsoft Suite, Excel, HP Calculator, and Word Processing software
• Valid California Driver’s License
